If you understand how a vaporizer works the reverse happens in bongs, i.e. the THC condenses into the water as it cools, therefore giving you higher carcinogen/tar smoke to THC ratio.

This suggests that water filtration is actually counterproductive, apparently because water tends to absorb THC more readily than noxious tars.

No really though, what do you use instead of water that wouldn’t effect the thc/noxious tars ratio? Could there even be a liquid that improves it? Now that would be some good research right there.

THC has a very low solubility in water. I agree that a vape is easier on your lungs, but you need to recheck your sources.

Actually if you use vodka or a different hard liquor then you get really trashed…the thc will bond with the alcohol molecules, bringing you some happy smoke! Also, homer only uses bad english..he meant to say that using water gives a higher tar/carcinogen to thc ration compared to a vaporiser.

On a side note vapes are better for you, and get you pretty chiefed, but they kinda make the weed taste like burnt popcorn..its not the best taste ever..if im gonna smoke some weed i want some nasty good old weed smoke!! thats just me though

(ps if you do use liquor in your bong, use a screen, dont want any cherried bud falling into highly flammable liquids ^.^)

You know how people talk about making weed tea? Well, THC is fat soluble, not water soluble. That means that it is more readily absorbed into fat than into water. That’s why it stays in your system for so long. So, What’s better than weed tea? The answer my friends, is “Pot-Chocolate”. Take some milk, powdered chocolate milk mix, and stir together. Then take a normal teabag and snip the corner off to empty the contense. Grind your herb down very finely and put into the teabag. then tape it shut or staple it, or whatever. Put it in your drink mix and microwave till it’s boiling. Set in the fridge to cool off and allow time for absorbtion. Final step, enjoy!

Those would be called joints or Js or jays, not spliffs. A spliff is a marijuana cigarette rolled with tobacco. Two totally different things. I do agree though; I’d take a kind joint over a bong toke anyday.
